In anticipation for his debut album release with “ADHD”, Joyner Lucas dropped his latest single and music video for “Will”, a tribute to Will Smith.
The multi-talented Massachusetts native, who’s resume consist of the following credentials: songwriter, producer, poet, actor, and rapper. Joyner Lucas has built anticipation for his debut album for over a year now.
Releasing his single “ADHD” in 2019, as he asked God for answers to why the good die young. Fast forward to this Friday March 27th, Lucas will finally release his debut album.
Every artist intent is to assure their is momentum going into their album release date, and with Joyner Lucas he couldn’t have done it any better. Without any unnecessary controversy, Lucas simply put his respect and admiration for Will Smith for the world to see. Including Will Smith himself.
“Joyner Lucas, yo! That join is crazy. Dude I am humble and honored. One of the lines you said in there, ‘You inspire people and you don’t even know it’. It has been my intention from day one to really going into the world and just put positive energy. To be able to use my creation to inspire, and elevate, and empower,” responded Will Smith via an Instagram video post.
“This video is ridiculous. Brother, again I’m humble, and hope to meet you one day,” said Will Smith as he closed out the video post.
For Joyner Lucas it was all worth it and a dream come true, as he took to Instagram and reposted Will Smith’s reaction video. Captioning the video with, “Is this real life??? Bruh I need to take a cold shower and wake up. I’m dreaming right now.”
