According to reports, Fashion Nova is upset with Hip Hop artist Rich The Kid who apparently did not hold his end of the deal.
TMZ has reported that Rich The Kid and Fashion Nova reached an agreement that dated back to 2018. Part the deal was for the 28-year-old rapper to give a shoutout to the U.S. retail based company in one of his songs, which he failed to do.
Another term for the deal had Rich The Kid showoff their line via his social media posts, just like many other celebrities who partner with Fashion Nova. And again the rapper failed to do as well.
Fashion Nova held their part of the deal when they gave the rapper 100K in advance money. Now what could have been a lucrative deal has turned into a lawsuit with $2.1 million in damages.
This lawsuit comes at a time when Rich The Kid is enjoying the success from his new single with YoungBoy Never Broke Again. The two artist have a collaboration album coming soon titled ‘Nobody Safe’, with their lead single “Bank Roll” already out.
The Queens born rapper might want to hurry and get his collaboration album out as soon as possible as he also faces other legal woes. Some of those legal woes include $300K debt owed to a previous landlord and over $1 million owed to his former managers.
