Wallie The Sensei Features 42 Dugg For “Scandalous” Remix

Los Angeles rapper Wallie the Sensei throws a fresh coat of paint on his hit single “Scandalous,” with an impassioned remix featuring Detroit’s 42 Dugg, out now on Capitol Records.

Wallie has met his match in 42 Dugg. The places they’re from seem entirely different on paper — but they both know just how unforgiving the streets can be. On the smooth remix, Wallie reflects on having to fend for himself and Dugg meditates on his journey to make it out while his friends remain incarcerated. “I got (brothers) tryna kill me for some beef that I forgot I’m in,” Wallie croons. “But you know that’s just the life I live, these streets that I grew up in.”

Before the remix, “Scandalous” racked up over 5 million combined YouTube views, making it his biggest song to date. Earlier this year, Wallie dropped a colorful verse on fellow L.A. MC 03 Greedo’s “Baccstage.” In August, Wallie hosted his first annual Back to School Giveback in his hometown of Compton to make sure kids had supplies ahead of the virtual school year.
