Update On Days Remaining For Tekashi’s House Arrest

Tekashi 6ix9ine isn’t satisfied with the success of ‘GOOBA‘ and ‘Trollz‘, as he is prepared to release yet another video his house arrest order expires.

Since his release from prison in the first week of April, 6ix9ine has proved his doubters wrong. Those who thought he was would not sell records, were completely wrong as Tekashi was able to produce two hits since his release.

“So, I have about 34 more days until house arrest is over,” Tekashi starts off the video post. “About 34 more days and the ankle monitor comes off and the king of New York is back on the street. I’m gonna give y’all one more music video.

Part of the agreement for Tekashi 6ix9ine’s early release required him to wear a GPS monitor on his ankle. During the first four months of house arrest, Tekashi was ordered not to leave his home. Only necessary medical treatment or to visit his legal counsel were allowed. And even then Tekashi needed approval from the probation department.

“Just picture this, right,” he continued. “I been on house arrest. I broke a whole bunch of records. Since I been home, the first song straight outta jail is platinum. I have the No. 1 record in the world, from house arrest. I’ve been shooting all the music videos in my living room. I’m gonna give y’all one more music video. Picture the noise I’m gonna make when I’m outside.”

No word yet on whether the new single will feature an artist or a solo song by the controversial rapper. Three week ago, Tekashi shocked the world when he posted a video of himself and Akon in 6ix9ine’s home. The two artist have recorded part 2 of Akon’s hit single ‘Locked Up”.

“Thinking about the things that I did, got me thinking like why the f— I did that / Got me wishing that I could take it all back / Fighting with these demons, barely even eating, barely even sleeping / This s— got me tweaking, fighting with my lawyers for a better offer / Just wanna see my daughter,” Tekashi raps over the the original beat of ‘Locked Up’ produced by Akon.

During an interview with DJ Whoo Kid on IG Live, Akon explained why he felt 6ix9ine wasn’t wrong for ‘snitching’. “Here’s the thing, he’s young bro…He had to literally decide, ‘What’s more valuable to me? My family or my future’” said Akon to DJ Whoo Kid. “You have to make a decision that’s going to better you.”
