To celebrate its 25th anniversary of Tupac’s Thug Life Volume 1 album, the Tupac Estate have released new merch such as a special vinyl and clothing.
The original album, released on September 26 1994, has this year celebrated its 25th anniversary. Released by Interscope, the album is only ten tracks and 42 minutes in length. It’s not the first time that the Tupac estate has put limited edition items up for grabs. In 2018, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Tupac’s Greatest Hits album, they released the vinyl version of the album with limited edition apparel. On the day of the 25th anniversary of Thug Life Volume 1, the music video to the song ‘How Long Will They Mourn Me’ which appears on the album, was uploaded to the 2Pacvevo YouTube channel.
Furthermore, in addition to the vinyl, the Tupac estate has a whole host of merchandise for sale. Unveiled at 2Pac.com with the caption ‘Thug Life, Y’all know the rules’ and various pictures of new items. Among the new items are t-shirts, beanies and hoodies, all bearing the iconic Thug Life sign. An item of clothing for sale that certainly stands out is the classic overalls that Tupac wore in the era of the album originally dropping.
