Hit single ‘Until the End of Time’, produced by Johnny J and Trackmasters, was released on February 18th 2001.
Featured on Tupac Shakur’s third posthumous album ‘Until The End Of Time‘, the lead single samples Mr. Mister’s 1985 smash hit ‘Broken Wings’.
Contributing with his vocals on the chorus is R.L. Huggar from the R&B trio Next. The alternate version of ‘Until The End Of The Time’ features Richard Page from the band Mr. Mister.
“Perhaps I was addicted to the dark side / Somewhere inside my childhood witnessed my heart die / And even though we both came from the same places / The money and the fame made us all change places / How could it be? Through the misery that came to pass,” Tupac kicks off ‘Until The End Of The Time’.
Directed by Chris Hafner, the music video shows parts of the interview outside court with him explaining his definition of a thug. It also features short clips of Tupac in the studio and performing live at the House of Blues.
