Tupac – Trapped Official Music Video

“I’d rather die than be trapped in a living Hell,
They got me trapped”

Released on September 25th 1991 by Interscope Records as a single off Tupac’s debut album, 2Pacalypse Now, ‘Trapped’ is a song that deals head on with police brutality. Tupac wrote ‘Trapped’ with Ray Luv. It was featured on Tupac’s 1998 posthumous album ‘Greatest Hits’. The music video features Shock G from Digital Underground singing part of the song’s chorus.

“Trapped is the true story just talking about how young black males get caught up in the stereotype where we can never escape this vicious 360 degree deadly circle. It doesn’t give any answers. It just tells us that we are trapped. It’s just like a little anthem”, Tupac speaking of Trapped.
