Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Tupac Shakur’s iconic “Me Against The World” album, the estate has released a higher quality version of the hit single “So Many Tears”.
Originally released on June 13, 1995, the “So Many Tears” single peaked at number 6 on the U.S Hot Rap Songs Billboard Chart. Without a doubt the single played a huge role in the success of the album. An album that was number one in the country as Tupac Shakur was in prison.
Along with the higher quality version of “So Many Tears”, the estate also released special merchandise to commemorate the anniversary of Tupac’s third studio album. The release sees a mix of apparel and collectibles which include hoodies, three different styled T-shirts and a 180 Gram 2LP color vinyl of the album.
The black pullover hoodie has a vintage look, with the ‘2Pac’ logo on the chest in gold and on the reverse the full tracklist of “Me Against The World“.
Another one of the standout pieces of newly released merchandise is a white T-shirt with “Certified 3x Platinum” on the front.
Prices range from $30 to $95 USD, and is now available to order at shop.2pac.com.
“Back in elementary, I thrived on misery
Left me alone, I grew up amongst a dyin’ breed
Inside my mind couldn’t find a place to rest
Until I got that Thug Life tatted on my chest
Tell me, can you feel me? I’m not livin’ in the past
You wanna last? Be the first to blast
Remember Kato, no longer with us, he’s deceased
Call on the sirens, seen him murdered in the streets
Now he rest in peace
Is there a heaven for a G? Remember me
So many homies in the cemetery, shed so many tears,” Tupac on “So Many Tears”.
