Fans of Tupac & Biggie are in for a treat, as an orchestral performance dedicated to both of the hip hop greats will tour the UK.
The ‘Biggie vs Tupac Orchestral Rendition’ sees two of the UK’s best orchestras perform hits of two music legends. One orchestra will perform the hits of Biggie Smalls, while the other will play classics from Tupac Shakur. Along with two leading orchestras are live performers bringing the timeless classics to life.
No Strings Attached, the company behind the show, brings promoters together with orchestras to curate spectacular performances. In the past, No Strings Attached have put together complete performances of music catalogs by music icons Daft Punk and Dr. Dre.
In a statement, No Strings Attached said, “this is no ordinary Orchestral event. Expect a full standing crowd, with performances from various DJ’s, lyricists and singers as well as full Orchestral Renditions of Biggie’s & Pac’s albums back to back.”
This is an event that hip hop fans based in the UK have craved for many years. Tupac Shakur & Biggie Smalls are undoubtedly two of the biggest names in the genre, giving so much to hip hop. Going from friends to enemies, many believe that Tupac & Biggie would have worked through their differences given more time.
Unfortunately, both rappers lives ended, murdered in drive-by shootings in 1996 and 1997 respectively. The Biggie vs Tupac Orchestral Rendition will give fans the chance to enjoy the work of two of music’s greatest artists, in a unique and unmissable way.
Although the venues have not been confirmed, the tour will commence early February next year. It will see Tupac & Biggie’s hits played in major cities including Manchester, Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
