Tupac Prison I.D. Card, Sold, Breaks World Record (Update)

Update On Tupac Prison I.D. (July 28, 2019)

Tupac’s 1995 prison I.D. card has been sold. The card which was issued on February 1995, breaks the world record for the most expensive piece of Tupac memorabilia ever sold at a public auction.

The opening bid was for $2,000. 30 bids later and the I.D. would sell for $30,000!

“Some say Tupac and his music are just as relevant today as they were more than 20 years ago. Fans haven’t forgotten his impact on hip-hop. They will go to any lengths to own a piece of Shakur’s life and times,” said Garry Shrum, Director of Music Memorabilia at Heritage Auctions.
