Rapper Trippie Redd has made a shocking claim that Youngboy Never Broke Again is in fact, Tupac Shakur.
Trippie Redd made the statement on his Instagram Live on earlier this week. The rapper, originally from Canton in Ohio, is known for songs like ‘Poles1469’ featuring 6ix9ine and ‘Dark Knight Dummo’.

In the short video, he told viewers that fellow new era rapper, YoungBoy he compared him to the hip-hop icon, Tupac Shakur. He said, “believe it or not, love me or hate me, YoungBoy is Tupac, man.”
After he made the statement, Trippie Redd laughed while still live on Instagram. Many believe he was just trolling.

Reaction to his comments on YoungBoy being Tupac has poured in on social media. One fan said, “Trippie Redd is a clown! I love YoungBoy but he will never just like Tupac. Another echoed the same vibe, saying, “there’s only 1 Tupac & he was on other s***. Lil buddy needs to stop smoking.”
Trippie Red Names Tupac As Number One On His Top 5 List
It seems Trippie Redd, whose currently on tour promoting his latest album, made this outburst out of the blue. However, in the past, Trippie has made it clear that he’s a Tupac fan. Last month, he had Tupac’s face painted on to two of his fingernails. In August, when asked about his top five rappers on Real 92.3 LA, and listed Tupac at number one.
In 2018, Trippie Redd came to the defense of Lil Xan when he called Tupac’s music boring. Redd didn’t necessarily agree with Lil Xan, but felt he is allowed to voice his opinion.

Speaking on the comments on social media, Trippie Redd said “I personally think y’all need to get off Lil Xan’s d***” he said. “That’s my lil dawg. And I love 2Pac. That was my dead brother’s favorite artist. Bro, do you see who he is? Of course he don’t like 2Pac. He don’t necessarily gotta like 2Pac to be Hip Hop, n*****. If he think that shit boring, he think that shit boring. That shit is not a part of this new era anyway.”
