Tuesday morning (October 13), Hip Hop artist Tory Lanez was ordered to stay away from Megan Thee Stallion, plus other conditions which he must follow immediately.
Appearing via phone for the hearing in L.A.’s County Court, Lanez was hit with a order protection which requires him to stay at least 100 yards from Hot Girl Meg. In addition, Lanez was also told he may not contact Megan.
With a bail set at $190K, which Lanez is prepared to pay, the Judge has also ordered the rapper to surrender any guns that he may own, reported TMZ.
The news comes hours after the New York Times release an opinion editorial written by Megan Thee Stallion where she spoke about women and abusive men. (View: Megan Thee Stallion Via Blog Post Addresses Tory Lanez)
“I was recently the victim of an act of violence by a man. After a party, I was shot twice as I walked away from him. We were not in a relationship. Truthfully, I was shocked that I ended up in that place,” wrote Megan.
As it stands, Lanez arraignment has been pushed back until November and if convicted he can face up to 22 years in prison.
