If Tekashi 6ix9ine Gets Out Of Jail, Should Breakfast Club Interview Him?

As we await the outcome of the court appearance on Wednesday December 18, there is a good reason why Tekashi 6ix9ine out of jail is very likely. Tekashi will probably be awarded time served and released from jail Wednesday.

Tekashi 6ix9ine out of jail on Wednesday became more of a reality when discussed on the Breakfast Club Tuesday morning.

DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne tha God discussed on whether or not they should interview Tekashi if he was released from prison.

Tekashi 69’s team contact Envy and Charlamagne

The interesting part of the debate is where DJ Envy and Charlamagne both reveal that they was contacted by Tekashi 6ix9ine’s “team”, asking for an interview with the Breaktfast Club.

“I got a call from somebody, I guess who’s on 69’s team. He asked me if I want to do a one-on-one interview with 69. And I was like no, I think if we did interview it should be on the Breakfast Club. Breakfast Club was his two biggest looks. But, I was like you know what let me talk to everybody else to see, cause I’m not too sure how I feel about this,” said Charlamagne.

At this point DJ Envy also revealed he recieved a similar call about interviewing Tekashi 69. “I said I don’t think I want to do it,” explained Envy. “You turn on everybody. You get released and you get rewarded for it. I just don’t necessarily think it’s a message that I want to do. I mean I don’t want to promote to kids that you know you go wild and do something stupid ish, and you just tell on the people you done. And, all of a sudden you come out and put out records, and it’s all cool.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine out of jail, a story of redemption?

Angela Yee on the other hand feels Tekashi should perhaps get a chance to explain himself. “What about if there is a story of redemption here. What if there is a lesson to be learned here,” says Angela Yee.

“Will it be entertaining I’m sure it would be, but I think it could absolutely send the wrong message. there’s a lot of mis-education in that 6ix9ine situation,” says Charlamagne.

Whether or not the Breakfast Club choices to interview Tekashi 6ix9ine, someone will. It just seems fit for Tekashi’s first interview out of jail to be with the Breakfast Club.

Tekashi 69’s two interviews with the Breakfast Club are the two most watched interviews for the club.
