According to TMZ, Tekashi’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, is requesting an early release for 6ix9ine due to the coronavirus and how it can seriously affect the artist’s health.
Lazzaro wrote a letter to the judge on Sunday night, explaining the health risk 6ix9ine could be facing. Outlining 6ix9ine’s asthma and previous health issues.
In late 2019 Tekashi was diagnosed with bronchitis and sinusitis and was eventually hospitalize for treatment. Lazzaro also explains that Tekashi has been denied access to a doctor despite his recent complaints about experiencing shortness of breath.

Although 6ix9ine is desperately trying to exit the prison walls, he is facing various lawsuits. Tekashi 69 was sued by FashionNova for $225 million dollars, as they claim Tekashi did not live up to their agreement which consisted of $225K in advance pay.
