The New York based clothing brand, Supreme and Tupac’s hologram have teamed up for clothing that is dropping this week.
Initially Supreme was first designed for skaters. Opening their very first store on April 1994, in New York City. Since then the brand has become extremely popular with the Hip Hop culture, and youth culture period.
Taking to social media to reveal the new partnership, Surpreme shared a short 38 second clip of the Tupac hologram wearing underwear with the brand’s logo right on it.
“Throw up a motherf***ing finger. Yeah! Makaveli in this,” says the Tupac hologram, as he prepares to perform “Hail Mary”.
Hologram Tupac debuted back in 2012 at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Appearing on stage with Snoop Dogg, the Tupac hologram went on to perform “Hail Mary” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted”.
Not much is known yet of the collaboration, but droplistapp on Instagram revealed a sneak peek of a white T-shirt we can expect. The shirt has a photo of the Tupac hologram wearing a white underwear with the Supreme name right below the infamous Thug Life tattoo.
Before the passing of Afeni Shakur, Tupac’s mom, she praised the performance of her sons’ virtual appearance saying that it was thrilling yet bittersweet.
Before the festival, Dr. Dre reached out to Afeni for her approval regarding the performance. As a thank you for her blessing, Dre made a donation to the TASF (Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation).
