There is no love lost between Ryback and the WWE and Vince McMahon, as the Big Guy has a message for his former boss on Christmas Day.
Taking it to Twitter which he has done quite often, the former WWE superstar revealed that Vince McMahon is having health issues, but wishes his former boss well for one reason and one reason only.
“Despite the pain and frustration the @wwe has caused me since walking away I want to send love their way towards @vincemcmahon as I’ve heard his health isn’t great these days. Hopefully he can find the strength to overcome so he can witness me kicking his ass fully for #Ryback.”
Since leaving the WWE back in 2016, Ryback has trashed his former employer in various interviews and on his own podcast. He has also been in a fight to win over rights to the name Ryback which he made his legal name in the fall of 2016.
Speaking with Chris Vliet in 2019, Ryback explained how WWE screwed him over. “WWE re-filed for the Ryback trademark on the final day before I was set to get it. Which I had to pay to have my trademark filed for it. And they re-filed the final day, and my attorney notified me. Then I gotta have a phone call with him. It’s gonna cost me between $45,000 and $60,000 to cancel out their trademark on it. Which more likely it’ll take anywhere from 12 to 18 months, and I should be awarded it at the end. But I’m going to have to pay,” Ryback explained.
