Roddy Ricch Celebrates New Musical Achievements

Atlantic Records Hip Hop recording artist Roddy Ricch has reached gold status for his debut studio album “Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial”.

Released on December 6, 2019, “Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial“, has sold more than 500,000 units as of January 18. The Compton native took to Twitter to express his gratitude for his recent success. Thanking god for his steady rise in the music industry, Roddy also acknowledges another accomplished on his tweet.

Roddy Ricch who appears on Mustard’s hit single titled ‘Ballin’ is nominated for a Grammy. ‘Ballin’ is up for nomination under the Best Rap/Song Performance category. With that being said, the song has also achieved double platinum status. “ballin 2x platinum today and my debut album gold and i sold more than i sold first week in my fifth week,” tweeted Roddy Ricch.

“All these designer on my body got me drip, drip, ayy / Straight up out the Yajects, I’m a big Crip / If I got a pint of lean, I’ma sip, sip / I run the racks up with my queen like London and Nip / But I got rich on all these n*****, I didn’t forget, back / I had to go through the struggle, I didn’t forget that,” Roddy Ricch on Ballin’.

Roddy Ricch is also up for a Grammy for his feature on Nipsey Hussle’s ‘Racks In The Middle’. Nipsey has three nominations for the upcoming Grammy 2020 award show in Los Angeles.

The 62nd annual Gammy show will air on January 26, on CBS. A press statement states “This year’s nominees reflect a melting pot of artistic innovation that defined the year in music.
