Ebie Wright and ReeMarkable, daughters of legendary Hip Hop artist Eazy-E, have engaged in a IG war, as the two disagree over the sampling of their father’s classic song.
ReeMarkable, an artist herself, took to Instagram to voice her displeasure when it comes to the sampling of her father’s music. Apparently, when it comes to ReeMarkable attempting to sample her father’s classic records, she is denied. This is the case when other artists, according to ReeMarkable.
Megan Thee Stallion releasing dropped her latest single ‘Girls In The Hood‘, which samples Eazy-E’s 1987 hit ‘Boyz-n-The-Hood’. This would prompt ReeMarkable to caption off her video on Instagram. “So tired of the bull—- games we gotta keep playing , I’m done being quite ! We want involvement when it come to our daddy , tired of my sister crying about the unfairness,” ReeMarkable said. “I’m fed the f up … WE EAT OFF NOTHING MY DADDY LEFT BEHIND.”
Moments later, Ebie Wright posted her own video on social media explaining that ReeMarkable does not speak for all of Eazy-E’s kids. Int he video Ebie praises Megan Thee Stallion and goes as far as saying Eazy-E didn’t even know ReeMarkable.
Adding to her video, were messages via Ebie’s IG Story (@ebie). “Nah, blood don’t give you the WRIGHT to do whatever tf floats your boat at the expense of me or my father!,” Ebie wrote. “To my sister Erica, while you’re posting dumb s–t, don’t make me pull receipts about how you feel this girl don’t have no right speaking on our father. But, now today you’;re mad that I’m exposing s–t?”
“This girl been stalking and harassing me in real life for sooo long lmfao. Been praying and waiting for me to address her in public so she could some clout off me,” added Ebie Wright.
Since posting her video, ReeMarkable contradicted herself by posted the cover for Megan Thee Stallion‘s ‘Girls In The Hood’ with the caption, “Tomorrow”.
