The origin of how ‘Got My Mind Made Up’ came to be on ‘Pac’s album down to Daz. He took the tape over to Dr Dre’s, as soon as Tupac heard it he wanted it on his album.

According to Daz Dillinger, Dr Dre took credit for the beat. When Daz told Tupac that it was actually his beat, things went sour between Dr Dre and Tupac.
