Outlawz Neva Surrenda: The Rap-A-Lot Sessions album was released on this day 16 years ago, October 22, 2002. The album consisted of songs recorded during the Outlawz time at J Prince’s Rap A-Lot records.
Heavily produced by Mike Dean and Mr. Lee, while executived produced by J. Prince the album also featured the likes of Hot Boys, Willie D, Big Syke and Yukmouth. The album would peak at number 80 on the Billboard charts.
Over time Outlawz had build a relationship with J Prince and were very appreciative to what they had learned about the music industry while on Rap A-Lot records.
EDI Don last week ran into J Prince and expressed his respect via twitter.
