After dropping her latest single with “Yikes”, Nicki Minaj revealed her plans for Queen Sleeze during a Q&A via Twitter.
Nicki’s fans had a chance to interact with the Hip Hop artist during a Satuday morning (February 8) Q&A. When asked about her latest single “Yikes“, Nicki Minaj tells fans she was bullied into dropping the song ASAP.
“I was playing a snippet for my crazy fans & they made me put it out. They are bullies. I only had 1 verse done. The label bullied me too. I’ve been bullied,” tweeted Nicki.
When asked if she wrote the lyrics to “Yikes” or just went in and dropped her verse, Nicki replied with, “I made up the hook with no paper. Just freestyled in the booth cuz I loved the beat. So the yikes part is me hearing the beat for the very first time. The verses I wrote down. The outro was a freestyle.”
Nicki Minaj also gearing up to release her new studio album. With a the new album comes a new alter ego named Queen Sleeze. According to Nicki, Queen Sleeze is “way deadlier”.
“She’s more calm but way deadlier. My husband always says he’s more afraid when I talk quiet then when I yell. Lmao. He said that’s how he knows when I’m dead tf serious,” explains Nicki during the Twitter Q&A.
Nicki was also asked to describe her latest album using only four words. Nicki Minaj simply replied with, “Queen TF SLEEZE.”
