If you thought Nick Cannon’s Hip Hop career was over after his beef and diss songs towards Eminem, well guess again. Nick Cannon is taking his music career very serious as he is ready to drop a new mixtape.
Nick Cannon says he “poured out his soul” into the new project titled ‘The Miseducation Of The Negro You Love To Hate’. Inspired by one of Cannon’s favorite books ‘The Mis-Education of the Negro‘ by Carter G. Woodson.
One can expect a mixtape that will deliver substance with the purpose of educating its listeners. As Cannon stated via his official Instagram account, “Just poring my soul out to the world. I hear y’all loud and clear. Hate me or Love me, Educate Yourself!!”
The special project is already making a statement with its art cover. Designed by Sarjoey, according to Cannon, it represents how special the project is to him. “The artwork for my new mixtape is super special to me. Inspired by one of my favorite books by Carter G. Woodson and one if my favorite rappers and Grios @IceCube. Love yo dope artist @sarjoey You did your thing. It’s simple but says a great deal and that’s how this project came together.”
No word yet as who will be featured on the new Nick Cannon mixtape, but one thing is for sure whether you love him or hate him, you will be tuning in.
Late 2019 saw the Eminem and Cannon heated beef reignited when Fat Joe‘s ‘Family Ties’ album dropped in December. Appearing on the song ‘Lord Above’, Eminem took shots at Nick Cannon and his ex-wife Mariah Carey.
