After years of delay Dr. Dre is releasing his much anticipated Detox album in 2021, as revealed by multi-platinum producer Dem Jointz.
Dre who has been dealing with a divorce and recently was hospitalized due to a brain aneurysm, not to mention four men attempted to burglarized his home while he was in the hospital, now it appears he will try to alleviate some of that stress by doing what he does best — create.
As posted by producer Dem Jointz on Saturday night (January 16), Dr. Dre who returned home on Thursday (January 15) is seen accompanied by producers and engineers of the Aftermath family.
The photo above was taken by 5x Grammy winner music producer, Focus. Many who are seen in the photo provided their own caption on IG, such as Aftermath’s full time assistant engineer Zoom Air, who wrote, “Boss Back Calling The Shots, it’s gon be a long year for y’all, mannnnnnn.”
Fans never thought they would see the day when Dre would finally release Detox. And even with the recent tease many are holding their breathes. Can you blame them? Detox was originally announced back in 2002. After more than a decade later and Dr. Dre scrapped the album.
