New Hip Hop Albums Releasing For First Week Of December

As the year comes to a close, we shouldn’t be so quick to look into 2020. New Hip Hop albums releasing this Friday, December 6, could be one of the best weeks in the game this year.

Some of these albums might very well be the best of 2019. With a few veterans on the list, and one who can very well steal the spotlight for their debut album.

Either way these albums could end the year of 2019 strong for Hip Hop as well as take us into 2020 the right way.

French Montana

After spending weeks in the hospital, French Montana has been keeping his fans updated about his current health condition. French was admitted to San Fernando Valley Hospital after complaints of stomach pains, nausea and an elevated heart rate. Since then he took to Instagram this past Thanksgiving thanking everyone for their support, “Thank you Everyone for all of the prayers, love and support. I’m finally out of ICU and am getting better one day at a time!!!”

Fat Joe

Hip Hop veteran, Fat Joe, is set to drop what could be his final album ‘Family Ties’, on December 6. After releasing the hit single ‘Yes’ in November, Joey Crack, released his second single and music video off the new album. Featuring Dre, the music video for ‘Deep‘ was directed by Irv Gotti and is currently only can be viewed exclusively via Tidal.

“My love for hip hop is crazy. He doesn’t believe me,” Fat Joe said, pointing to music producer Andre “Dre” Lyon of Cool & Dre, who sat beside him. “But he’s never heard me say this. And I’ve got mad at all the other rappers who said they’re retiring and they came back. No, I’m a strong advocate against that. So I’m really – I’ve been flirting with it. I’m like a 85% gone,” Fat Joe tells CBS News.
