Is Fat Joe Retiring? Drops New Music Video 'Deep' Featuring Dre

As he prepares to drop his latest album ‘Family Ties’ on December 6, Fat Joe has released a new single titled ‘Deep.’ The single features Dre, with the music video directed by Irv Gotti.

Family Ties album could be Fat Joe’s last album. Speaking with CBS News, Fat Joe announced his possible retirement from creating Hip Hop music, saying, “I think I’m retiring”.

“My love for hip hop is crazy. He doesn’t believe me,” Fat Joe said, pointing to music producer Andre “Dre” Lyon of Cool & Dre, who sat beside him. “But he’s never heard me say this. And I’ve got mad at all the other rappers who said they’re retiring and they came back. No, I’m a strong advocate against that. So I’m really – I’ve been flirting with it. I’m like a 85% gone.”
