Mike Tyson’s Return To Wrestling At AEW’s Double Or Nothing

Iron Mike Tyson made his return to pro wrestling at the second annual AEW Pay-Per-View event “Double Or Nothing”.

No one knew what to expect when it was announced Tyson would be presenting the new AEW TNT Championship title, but one thing was for sure — it would be must see TV.

The PPV took place at the Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida and of course still in front of no fans. But, regardless of the current pandemic circumstances, AEW delivered a memorable show, which included Mike Tyson’s assist in leading to the winner of the first ever TNT championship title.

Tyson made his way down to the ring with his own entrance theme song, raising the new TNT Championship title high above his head. The match-up saw Cody Rhodes vs. Lance Archer, with the winner becoming the first ever TNT champion.

Towards the end of the match, Arn Anderson and Jake Roberts who were ringside in support of their friend Cody and Archer respectively, were kicked out of the arena by the referee.

This would not stop Jake Roberts who made his way back onto the entrance stage, with his signature snake in a bag. This immediately prompted Tyson who was sitting ringside to jump out of his seat and onto the entrance ramp.

Tyson now face-to-face with Roberts, took off his shirt, which resulted in the wrestling legend to back off. Seconds later Cody hit his finisher ‘Cross Rhodes’ and pinned Archer to become the TNT Champion. Mike Tyson would then present Cody with the title.
