In 1992, while Mike Tyson was in prison, he would get a special visit from his good friend Tupac Shakur. Speaking on that day with T.I., Tyson says Tupac had the prison going crazy. Shakur would jump on a table as he amped up the inmates, making the prison guards uncomfortable.

“Cause like when he came, the inmates got roddy and pumped up. That was like a safety situation there, so they really didn’t like him there. But he was like a bolt of energy. When he came in everybody knew him, he had mad respect. I guess that’s how he lived his life. He demanded respect.”

Mike Tyson also speaks on the time where Tupac shot at two off duty cops. An incident that happened after Tyson visited Tupac. When were got out about the incident, the prisoners went crazy. “He had just came to visit me. And, then he out to Atlanta and shot two off duty police officers. Everybody in the prison went crazy. Like a riot and everybody went crazy!”

In November of 1993, Tupac was performing at Clark Atlanta. After the show, Pac and his entourage headed back to the hotel where Tupac was trying to park his new BMW 750.

It was at this moment Shakur was angered because he wasn’t unable to park due to a dispute on hand. After taking a closer look Tupac noticed two white males assaulting an African american male. Tupac quickly went over to see what was happening when one of the individuals pull a gun to his sternum.

At this point, Tupac pulls up his shirt and shouted, “Thug Life motherf**kas, shoot!” The white male did not know how to react, other than taking the butt of the gun and smashing the window of Tupac’s brand new MBW 750.

Tupac would end up pulling out his gun, and one one knee shot at the two white males, who later it was discovered they were off duty police officers. One of those shots fired by Pac would connect right on the buttocks of the off duty cop, and the other was hit in the abdomen.

“Tupac was in a weird way, he was like a Roman general,” Tyson said. “He took himself real serious. He had a great deal of self-respect and dignity. A lot of people can’t understand that. They can’t conceive of that. That’s almost threatening. Almost like challenging someone. And, I don’t know if he noticed that. He was just an amazing guy.”
