Hip Hop artists Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne collaborate over Tupac’s Hail Mary beat.
Set to become a free man summer of 2020, Juelz Santana latest project “#FREESANTANA”, was released by his wife Kimbella. A project that features two songs with Lil Wayne.
In fact, Kimbella confirmed during an interview with the Breakfast Club, of the twenty plus songs recorded with Juelz and Lil Wayne.
One of those songs is featured on “#FREESANTANA”, which the two artists spit over a flipped “Hail Mary” beat, titled “Bloody Mary”.
The iconic song, “Hail Mary” appeared on Tupac’s posthumous album “The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory”, under his alias Makaveli. Featuring the Outlawz and Prince Ital Joe, this wouldn’t be the first time it has been remixed.
According to Kimbella, her husband Juelz Santana is a perfectionist when it comes to his music, one of the reasons for his delay in releasing music. Whenever an artist takes on an iconic beat, many will criticize, but Juelz and Lil Wayne did not upset with this remix.
“From a tenant in the tenements to owning my residence
Phone still clicking, I feel like the receptionist
Out of this world, yes, he is, extraterrestrian
My life’s a f***ing movie, boy, don’t get yourself edited,” Julez on “Bloody Mary”
