Furthermore, a few of the producers involved on ‘Funeral’ include Loopholes, Academics and MonstaBeatz. Along with the announcement the New Orleans native launched special ‘Funeral’ merchandise which includes shirts, hoodies and beanies. Merchandise prices range from $13 to $60 depending on the item and are available on Lil Wayne’s online store.
Hip hop fans are eagerly awaiting what kind of style Lil Wayne will come with on this latest album. Last year, Weezy spoke on how he loves the new era of hip hop, urging fans to embrace it. “The new hip-hop, I love it. I love that it’s actually changed,” he said. “Back in the G, you had to spit your heart out. Now it’s changed. Let’s just make something that it’s cool to hear, we don’t have to listen to it, listening is different than hearing. So when we hear it, we like it, it’s all good, so that makes it easier for me.”
