Lebron James reacted to the tragic death of Hip Hop artist King Von who was shot and killed early Friday morning (Novemebr 6) outside an Atlanta hookah lounge.
Along with King Von, there was another victim who lost their life, and four others wounded. Police quickly arrived to the scene due to that fact that one off duty officer was working at the Monaco Hookah Lounge and another officer was patrolling near by.
“At this time, our investigators believe (King Von) was shot during the initial shootout between the two groups of males, prior to police responding and attempting to stop the shooting. Additionally, (King Von) was not located at the scene, but arrived at a hospital shortly after the shooting, via private vehicle,” a statement from Atlanta police said.
Lebron James took to his Twitter Friday afternoon with a heartfelt message. “Damn Rest Easy Von! Bronny, Bryce and I rocked with his music and story telling! The kid had a damn good future ahead of him,” tweeted King James.
The Chicago native had recently dropped his project ‘Welcome to O’Block’ which debuted at number 14 selling 25K, with his music video for ‘The Code’ featuring Polo G surpassing millions of views on YouTube.
