Lebron James Listens To Tupac, Outlawz Before Lakers Vs Rockets

How else would you prepare for one of the biggest showdowns of the new year? For Lebron James, his pregame workout for Lakers Vs Rockets consisted of listening to Tupac’s ‘Tradin War Stories‘.

King James let the world know he wasn’t taking the Lakers Vs Rockets game lightly. Via his official Instagram story, Lebron was seen lighting weights and rapping to Tupac Shakur’s ‘Tradin War Stories’.

The song appeared on Tupac’s Death Row Records debut album ‘All Eyez On Me’. An album that has gone over 10 times platinum. Featuring the Outlawz and C-bo on ‘Tradin War Stories’, King James is heard rapping impressively, to the start of C-BO’s verse. “I breaks them off with this gangsta war story tale / Stacking loot up in the coupe that I protect with a Mack 12
/ Slap my clip in the chamber; fool, your life’s in danger / No one will remain when I come through dumping insane.”

Lakers Vs Rockets

The pregame workout proved to be part of the winning formula, as the Lakers defeated the Rockets 124-115. With the win, the Lakers improved their record to 34-8.

The win against the Rockets became possible when the Rockets were held to only 17 points in the 3rd quarter. Once again King James lead the way offensively with 31 points and 23 assists.

After the game Lebron reminded reporters that the Lakers can indeed beat teams with winning records. When asked if the wins against the Rockets creates more confidence for the Lakers, Lebron had this to say “No because we can’t beat times with winning records.” Lebron sarcastic reply to due the criticism the Lakers faced make in November as many claimed they can’t beat teams with over .500 records. “Don’t matter who we playing. Don’t matter if you a playoff team, not a playoff team. It’s just about that moment.”

Lakers Vs Rockets are set for another game on Feb. 4th which will take place two days before the deadline and before the 2020 NBA All Star Game.
