Florida-born Hip Hop star Kodak Black, gave an interesting freestyle straight from the video visitation phone.
Regularly updating his social media from his current residence in prison, Kodak Black posted the freestyle on Friday.
Using Instagram, the Hip Hop artist raps about coronavirus and hoping the world doesn’t end while he’s in prison. In addition, he gave praise to his lawyer and stresses that he misses his girlfriend.
In the video, Kodak Black spits, “This for the lil’ kids in Africa, stomach touchin’ they back. And the kids in China eating bats for a snack.”
He then speaks of his current situation and experiences in prison. “I wonder what the excuse gonna be when the world ending? And when it do I just hope I ain’t in prison.”
“Tryna stay updated with this Hip Hop sh** And my son don’t answer the phone, he on that TikTok sh**. And COVID-19 ain’t got nothing to do with me, ’cause I’m from 1800 block, it ain’t got nothing to do wit me!”
Last year, the rapper attempted to travel into the United States from Canada when his vehicle was stopped and searched. As a result, police arrested Kodak Black after the recovery of four handguns and marijuana.
In addition, he is also facing trial in South Carolina with allegations of rape. If convicted, Kodak Black may serve 30 additional years in prison.
Kodak Black isn’t the only Hip Hop artist to post to social media platforms about the crisis. Young Thug, gave his views by posting a biblical passage for his fans to delve into. Posting a picture of a passage from the Book of Chronicles, the rapper highlighted it and wrote, “Pay attention children,” sparking thousands of comments.
