After making his announcement on July 4th, Kanye West presidential run has been widely criticized. Many are not taking West seriously, including Jamie Foxx.
Although Foxx and West have collaborated together musically, the Oscar winner doesn’t have time for Kanye latest antics. Jamie Foxx made his feelings towards the presidential bid loud and clear.
Former NBA player, Stephen Jackson re-posted a photo of Kanye West wearing the infamous red “MAGA” hat. A post originally uploaded by DJ Hed who wrote, “No more voting for celebrities who’ve never held public office. If you wouldn’t hire a plumber to work on the electrical wiring in your house why would you vote this way? America’s obsession with fame celebrity is the endgame.”
Jackson who was a close friend to the late George Floyd, often referred to each other as twin. Since Floyd’s tragic passing, Jackson has been on the front lines fighting for Floyd and against police brutality.
Jackson agreeing with DJ Hed comments, added his own by stating, “Kanye Trump. Fool u once shame on them fool u twice u and 2x fool. #justiceforgeorgefloyd#justiceforbreonnataylor and so many more. #ivehadenough of the clown shit. Love for all who have love for all✊🏿✊🏻✊🏾✊🏼✊🏽✊ Leader of The New School. Leading with Love. Demanding not asking.”
This would prompt actor Jamie Foxx to weigh in on the conversation. Foxx chimed in by saying, “Gottdamn right!!! Ain’t got time for the bullshit!!!”
Back in 2009, Foxx appeared on Kanye West’s hit single ‘Gold Digger’. But, that was musically, and that was then and this is now. Foxx like many others have made it clear. West does not have their vote.
