Brooklyn native and self proclaimed The Prince Of N.Y, releases his first single of 2020 with “Proud Of Me”.
Rapping since the age of eleven-years old, J.I. first hit the national scene on Lifetime’s ‘The Rap Game‘. Inspired by some of Hip Hop’s greatest artists, such as Tupac Shakur and Nas, the Brooklyn native is taking the art seriously.
After dropping ‘Hood Life Krisis Vol. 2‘ winter of 2019, J.I. took to his Instagram account to apologize for the wait.
Dropping his latest single “Proud Of Me”, the young nineteen-year old has his sights set on establishing himself in the game. Along with the single is the visuals directed by Derek Dream Films. Shot in New York, the music video highlights various clips of past performances.
