J.I. The Prince Of N.Y Drops “Proud Of Me” Music Video

Brooklyn native and self proclaimed The Prince Of N.Y, releases his first single of 2020 with “Proud Of Me”.

Rapping since the age of eleven-years old, J.I. first hit the national scene on Lifetime’s ‘The Rap Game‘. Inspired by some of Hip Hop’s greatest artists, such as Tupac Shakur and Nas, the Brooklyn native is taking the art seriously.

After dropping ‘Hood Life Krisis Vol. 2‘ winter of 2019, J.I. took to his Instagram account to apologize for the wait.

Dropping his latest single “Proud Of Me”, the young nineteen-year old has his sights set on establishing himself in the game. Along with the single is the visuals directed by Derek Dream Films. Shot in New York, the music video highlights various clips of past performances.

“I hope you proud of me I’m prolly not gon be around when they acknowledge me / Drunk off success I might just make a toast to poverty / Uou got too much N****s on ya phone for you to bother me,” J.I. on the hook for “Proud Of Me”.
