Years of feuding consisting of numerous diss records, a pop icon in Mariah Carey and now Eminem and Nick Cannon beef is over as the two artists are apparently moving forward. Finally.
The announcement was officially made on Wednesday evening by one of Eminem’s closest friends and supporter in Crooked I. It all started with an Instagram post by Eminem’s long time enemy, Nick Cannon. The former host of Wild N’ Out shocked everyone when he shared a photo of himself with Royce Da 5’9.
According to the caption of the post, Cannon was invited to Detroit by Royce Da 5’9. “@Royceda59 told me to pull up in Detroit! Say Less! 2 Brothers Building, Manifesting and Enlightening! This @cannonsclasstv is about to be Epic! #cannonsclass ✊🏾.”
Fans were quick to jump in the comments, as many saw this as a betrayal from the former Slaughterhouse artist who has come to the defense of Slim Shady in the past.
In September of 2020, Cannon appeared on The Fat Joe Show where he requested for Royce Da 5’9 to help end the long beef with Eminem. A beef that started back in 2009 and re-started in late 2019 when Eminem mentioned Cannon on ‘Lord Above’, a song featured on Fat Joe‘s last album ‘Family Ties‘.
Crooked I was asked by a fan how he felt about Cannon and Royce Da 5’9 recent photo. “They’re not enemies. It’s over,” Crooked I simply replied back to the fan on Twitter.
The Hip Hop world will definitely tune in for Cannon’s Class whenever Nick releases the interview with Royce Da 5’9.
