When asked by B High ATL what a young DJ Irv would do different, Irv Gotti replied with, “Let Atlantic Records sign 50 Cent.”

“I blocked a ***** till he fell into Dre’s lap,” Irv Gotti explained. “Labels would call me and I was so hot. I was the hottest thing, so I was like, ‘Yo, If you mess with him, I’m not messing with you.’. And, they was like, ‘We ain’t messing with him then. Forget it’.”

Back in 2003 Dr. Dre‘s Aftermath and Eminem‘s Shady Records released 50 Cent’s debut album ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’. The debut album was a huge success and landed on the Billboard 200 at number one selling over 872,000 copies in its first week. Till date the album has sold over 9 million units.

During 50 Cent’s rise in Hip Hop, his on going street beef with Ja Rule and Irv gotti continued into the music industry. “I should have let some of the **** labels, or not **** labels, but not just labels with Eminem and Dre behind them. He [50 Cent] had a deal with Sony before wasn’t —moving like that,” Irv said. “I blocked that ***** into a dream situation.”

50 Cent becoming aware of Itv Gotti’s latest comments about him, quickly responded back with a caption on Instagram. “Now everybody knows why i act the way i act. These sucka be out here working against you, instead of working on their own ishh. 👀now look at them, all (screwed) up.”

Fast forward to the 51:00 mark to hear Irv speak about black balling 50 Cent.
