Ice Cube Calls Don Lemon A Punk, Challenges Him To An Interview!

After receiving backlash for collaborating with the Trump administration for his Contract With Black America, Ice Cube appeared on CNN with Chris Cuomo to explain his mindset. But, what has the legendary Hip Hop artist upset, are the comments made by CNN’s Don Lemon after Cube’s appearance with Cuomo.

Cube cleared the air with Chris Cuomo on Friday night (October 16), after he had tweeted about his Thursday night scheduled interview was cancelled. “So the POWERS that be cancelled my interview on @CuomoPrimeTime tonight. I’ve actually been ban from @CNN for a few months so I was surprised they even asked. But it seems like they can’t handle the truth,” Cube tweeted.”

Ice Cube explained that he is not picking sides when it comes to Joe Biden and President Donald Trump, but instead is willing to listen to any party when it comes to his Contract With Black America.

According to Cube, it was the Trump campaign that reached out to him wanting to hear what his CWBA was all about. “I’m not longer playing these games. These political games, we’re not part of a team. We have very broad problems,” Cube said during his interview with Chris Cuomo. “I’m going to whoever’s in power and I’mma speak to them about our problems specifically.”

After his appearance with Cuomo, Ice Cube thanked him on Twitter, but also called out Don Lemon and challenged him for an interview Monday night October 19th. “Thank you Chris @CuomoPrimeTime you’re a man of your word. @donlemon that was some punks *** ishh you just did.”

Cube is referring to Don Lemon speaking to Cuomo after Ice Cube’s interview. Lemon says Ice Cube should educate himself so he can utilize his platform properly. “If you are someone like Ice Cube and you have the platform that you have, and I don’t want to disrespect him. He is very accomplished. I’ve only met him a few times, nice guy,” Don Lemon tells Cuomo. “But, one needs to know what one is talking about. One needs to educate oneself.”

“If you have any balls. I need to be on your show Monday night at 10pm. I’ll be ready,” added Cube in his Tweet. We have to wait and see if Lemon invites Cube on his show Monday night.
