Hit Producer 9th Wonder Says Ask For NFL Tickets Back, Defends Jay-Z

The North Carolina hit producer, 9th Wonder, chimes in on those who lashed out on Jay-Z for his recent moves with the NFL.

9th Wonder has worked with the likes of Chris Brown, Nary J. Blidge, Nipsey Hussle, Rapsody, and Jay-Z.

Speaking of Jay-Z, 9th Wonder took to his social media account Saturday November 16, and fired back at those who criticized Jay-Z.

Jay-Z was heavily criticized when the NFL announced on August 13, that it was entering a partnership with Roc Nation. Roc Nation, the entertainment company founded and led by rapper and mogul Jay-Z. The deal consisted of Roc Nation helping to advise on selecting artists for the Super Bowl and other NFL events.

Many called Jay a sellout for the deal. The criticism stemming from the NFL banning Colin Kaepernick back in 2016 for taking a knee during the National Anthem. Those who criticized felt Jay should stand by Colin and not take such a deal with the NFL.

Fast foward to Saturday November 16th, Colin Kaepernick is set to workout in front of 11 NFL teams. The following teams are Arizona, Atlanta, Cleveland, Denver, Detroit, Miami, New England, New York Giants, New York Jets, Tampa Bay, and Washington.

9th Wonder issues bold statement, blocks comments

Captioning a photo of Jay-Z and Rodger Goodell, 9th Wonder wrote, “But….
Y’all was mad.
Now, there’s a workout.
Funny how things turned out.
Let folk do what they do, and quit being mad just because you’re bored. There are moves being made way above your understanding. This is chess, not checkers, spades, or tonk. 
Call your local cable operator and ask for the NFL Sunday Ticket back, and go find a new Kaepernick jersey to purchase, very soon.

Dan Patrick reported on his show this past Friday, that Jay-Z put pressure on NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to give Kaepernick a workout.
