Dash Radio unveiled their biggest channel update ever. While re branding several of their stations they have also launched the premium flagship Dash X stations in multiple genres. This could have a huge impact on Dash Radio who continue to improve their brand while reaching a wider audience.
Back in December 2017 General Motors partnered with eight news and entertainment companies. The goal was to provide podcasts through apps via the vechicles onboard 4G LTE connection. Dash Radio being one of those entertainment companies. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Jaguar/Land Rover and Mirror Link to name a few of the 50 plus platforms in which Dash is available.
Dash Radio’s most popular HipHop station XXL, is turning into Dash HipHop X. Dash HipHop X will feature more DJs and live content 24/7. The ability to switch in real time between explicit and clean version of the station will be available as well.
Many changes have affected stations and some shows have found new homes such as The Dinner Club hosted by EDI Don and Deva Pink, will now air on the all new ‘The City’ station. While there are many changes Dash Radio has encouraged listeners to voice their opinions. “While we are sunsetting a few stations, we still will keep their libraries and databases running here behind the scenes in the event there is demand to bring them back,” explained Dash Radio via a press statement. With all these changes, there is one important thing that remains the same is the commercial free programming available in every genre.
Dash Radio have also launched new stations like Monster Of Rock and Big3 Radio with Ice Cube. Partnerships with Slacker which places Dash stations inside its platform and outlets including Tesla vehicles.
Also set to launch is a new design for the app, launch several new stations, shows and distribution outlets. Dash would also like to show their appreciate to their listeners by having a new system that rewards you with prizes, concert tickers and meet & greets.

– Skeenet is moving its programming to Dash HipHop X
– Get Familiar is moving its programming to Dash HipHop X
