Just like Fox, the WWE would also send out a tweet about CM Punk’s WWE Backstage return. The tweet read: BREAKING: CM Punk appears on #WWEBackstage on @FS1 and says he’ll be back next week.

CM Punk had one thing to say when he appeared on a WWE camera after six years, “It’s as simple as this: Just when they think they’ve got the answers, I change the culture,” Punk told the camera, before adding, “I’ll see you here next week.”

A month has passed since CM Punk himself confirmed that he was indeed auditioning for a role on Fox’s WWE Backstage. Here we are now, as CM Puyk shocked everyone. But many questions remain.

Who knew about CM Punk’s return?

Will CM Punk wrestle?

Any match with CM Punk is a money match. But, how about having a match with CM Punk as his first match in 6 years? Well, Seth Rollins would like to be first in line. As the news broke about CM Punk’s return, Rollins sent a tweet directly to Punk asking for a fight.

CM Punk has yet to reply back, but the official WWE on Fox Twitter account has. The account suggestions Seth Rollins talk it over on WWE’s Backstage. Rollings has no problem with that suggesting, as he quickly replied back, “Glad to do it. Book me a flight.”

WWE’s Survivor Series in scheduled for November 24, 2019 and will be held in Chicago, CM Punk’s hometown. One has to wonder if he will make his in ring return this soon at the Survivor Series, or perhaps make an appearance but not wrestle just yet.
