Who Is Performing At The 2020 NBA All-Star Game? Hip Hop artists, Chance The Rapper and Common will headline the NBA All-Star half time show in Chicago on February 16, 2020. Both artists will perform live in their hometown.
The performance will occur during the half time show of the 69th NBA All-Star Game.
Chance The Rapper appeared on Inside The NBA, after attending an event at the Museum of Science and Industry which benefited the charity SocialWorks, which was started by Chance to empower Chicago Kids.
Speaking on headlining the 2020 NBA All-Star game, Chance call the opportunity “Insane”. “It’s gonna be insane. We’ve taken over the whole all star weekend here in Chicago. I’m excited. Me and my brother got a bunch of plans, bunch of parties, bunch of the things in mind.”
Taylor Bennett will also join his older brother Chance the Rapper. Taylor, also a Hip Hop artist, has released three albums in his young music career. His most recent work was that of an EP release titled “The American Reject“, which in September he premiered a new music video for the project.
Given the fact the performance will be held in his hometown, Chance the Rapper says he has a few surprises in stored for the event. “A crazy thing for Chicago. I’ma make sure there are as many of my people in the arena as possible. Yeah, we’re gonna turn up Chicago style,” says Chance the Rappper. “I’ma bring out a few special guests. Play some special songs, and ever time I get on stage on TV I do my thing. So, yeah I’m excited.”
