Roc Nation Hip Hop artist Casanova took to his official Instagram account Fright night (June 12), sending a message to all who are worried about going platinum.
“That’s what’s wrong with ya n—-, ya’ll worried about ya’ll records going platinum. Not me, I’m outside. I’m in the streets,” Casanova said in the IG video. “Ya’ll n—– can’t come outside. I started this shit n—-. I’m outside, n—- know my body. I’m in Harlem. I’m from Brooklyn.”
Casanova dropped his debut album ‘Behind These Scars‘ in 2019, with the lead single ‘Coming Home’ featuring Chris Brown.
Repeatedly in the video Casanova is heard saying he’s outside in the streets, unlike other artists who cannot. This could very well be a shot taken at another Brooklyn based rapper. Tekashi 6ix9ine, who is currently on house arrest, also dropped his new single ‘Trollz‘ with Nicki Minaj.
“YALL DOING ANYTHING TO GET RECORDS SOLD,I DID EVERYTHING TO MAKE SURE BOTH MY RECORDS GOLD..CANT NAME A RAPPER OUTSIDE MORE THAN ME‼️I AINT GANGSTA IM SCAAAARY,” the Brooklyn native said in the caption.
