After releasing his third single and music video on Friday (July 3), 6ix9ine thanked his fans for the support as his house arrest is coming to an end.
Saturday afternoon (July 4), 6ix9ine continued to hype up the end to his house arrest. Back in April, a judge awarded Tekashi 69 with an early release. Part of the release, 6ix9ine was to finish his two year sentence on home arrest. The Hip Hop artist was not allowed to leave his home unless approved by probation department. Even then, he was only allowed to leave home if it was for necessary medical treatment or to visit his legal counsel.
In the video Instagram post, 6ix9ine showcases with various video clips, how his living room was flipped for his music video shoots. ‘GOOBA‘, ‘Trollz‘, and his latest song ‘YAYA’, were all shot in his home.
Along with the behind the scenes footage, 6ix9ine captioned the video thanking his fans. “SO HOUSE ARREST IS COMING TO AN END…. AND I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO ALL MY FANS,” Tekashi wrote. “I CREATED AND BROKE A WHOLE BUNCH OF RECORDS FROM MY LIVING ROOM.”
Although house arrest is coming to an end, Tekashi 69 is not slowing down anytime soon. The Brooklyn native, is preparing an album and has locked in (no pun intended) an Akon feature.
6ix9ine’s latin single ‘YAYA’, did not garner the instant success that ‘GOOBA’ and ‘Trollz’ was able to obtain. But, 6ix9ine isn’t worried, confirming ‘YAYA’ was the last of his ‘house arrest saga’.
“YAYA WAS THE LAST OF THE HOUSE ARREST SAGA …… I LOVE YOU TO ALL MY FANS 💙💜💚❤️🧡💛🖤🤍 .. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST I MADE THE BEST OF WHAT I HAD FROM MY LIVING ROOM AND WE STILL WENT NUMBER 1 WE STILL WENT PLATINUM COMING HOME FROM JAIL I LOVE YOU.”
