A day after Hulu announced their documentary 69: The Saga of Danny Hernandez, 69’s manager Murda Murphy advised fans not to watch the Tekashi Hulu documentary.
Murphy who has stood tall with the rapper since his release, is not a fan of the Hulu documentary and nor is he a fan of the Showtime 3-part series Supervillain.
According to Murphy the two specials on his client are not authorized. He also ensures that there will be a fully authorized Tekashi documentary. Making his feelings know, Tekashi’s manager took to his IG story.
“The Hulu & Showtime @6ix9ine projects!! Are both unauthorized!!” Nothing to do with us!! Zero!! The people in these talking are! Are not involved with us in anyway!!” He then encouraged 6ix9ine’s fans not to stream either documentary. “Don’t support this trash!! When @6ix9ine does something you’ll be the first to know!,” Murphy said in his IG story Monday night (November 16).
Directed by Vikram Gandhi, the Tekashi Hulu documentary was produced secretly and tracks most of Hernandez’s career through the eyes from people who have worked with him, neighborhood friends, and his tattoo artist.
