Over the past weeks as the world practices social distancing, the Hip Hop community has come to see a series of battles via Instagram Live. The latest head-to-head challenge between 50 Cent and Ja Rule could be the most intriguing one yet.
Fat Joe and Swizz Beatz recently had a conversation on Instagram live, when Ja Rule took the opportunity to offer his opinion on the next epic battle.
Ja Rule would like to see himself go up against his arch nemesis 50 Cent, in a hit-for-hit battle. Making his case, Ja Rule promised to behave while laughing. Co-founder Swizz Beatz didn’t seem to convinced, responded back with, “That sounds like a devilish behave.”
Fat Joe believes this battle will break all live records on any social platform, Swizz Beatz would like to ensure that the intentions are pure. “We know the catalog,” said Swizz. “We just want to make sure the intentions is where they need to be.”
While the Joey crack, Swizz Beatz, and the former Murder Inc star deliberate, there is one important part of the puzzle that is missing. 50 Cent.
Responding back on social media as only 50 knows best, the TV executive producer of ABC’s For Life, captioned a throwback video of himself passing by in car smiling. The caption read, “Who want to battle, 😆and here’s a moment of silence for the still sick and suffering. LOL.”
It wouldn’t stop there as 50 Cent made it very clear that his answer is a no to Ja Rule’s challenge. In his next post, 50 Cent shared a photoshopped picture of Ja Rule sitting on the streets with the words “I Will battle 50 Cenbt for attention” written on a piece of cardboard, along with the caption of, “Stupid #fryfestival.”
