Appearing live on the Heart of an Outlaw show 2Pac impersonator Richard Garcia talks about hoping to perform live one day with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.
This past weekend Garcia performed at a Wedding in which the video itself has gone viral and brought an incredible amount of attention to the 2Pac impersonator. (View the video here) “The night after I did that wedding, I didn’t even get to sleep. I went straight to work and worked a four hour shift,” Garcia explains. “Went home and went straight to sleep just to wake up and go back to work.”
Hip Hop legend and former label mate of 2Pac, also added to the trend. Snoop Dogg via his official IG account shared a throwback video of Richard Garcia performing in 2019.
“My blood pressure went up. I almost had a heart attack. Then I sent it to my daughter. It took her about a couple of hours and she was like, ‘Are You serious?’,” Richard Garcia tell host Andy of the Heart of an Outlaw show. “Shout out to Snoop Dogg and thank you.”
According to Garcia he has gotten positive feedback with fans wishing he would perform live on stage with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. Garcia has admittedly sent Snoop a message hoping to make this dream come true one day. “I would love to do Hail Mary. I would love to do Changes, California Love,” Garcia said during the interview. “I love all his songs.”
Back in 2012, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre would hit the stage at the Coachella music festival and perform on stage with a 2Pac hologram. The 2Pac hologram would hit the stage along side Snoop Dogg, rising from the bottom of the stage, and would go on to perform Hail Mary, California Love and 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted.
